Creativity in Art, Precision in Figures: How BuroMuro Transformed Proctifin’s Office with Affordable Art

The client __ Proctifin is an accounting firm that recently moved to their new location in Mechelen. What sets them apart in their sector is their focus on personal guidance and advice. Proctifin ensures that entrepreneurs can focus on their growth potential without worrying about accounting issues. By listening, analyzing, and collaborating with their clients, they create an environment where entrepreneurship is central. For the design of their new office, they wanted a space that was not only functional but also inspiring and attractive. That's why they chose to collaborate with BuroMuro to integrate art pieces that would enrich their workspace.

The challenge __ Proctifin’s new office is large, with several floors and various workspaces, from small meeting rooms to large open work areas. The challenge was to fill every space with artwork while staying within a limited budget. Finding the right pieces that would enhance the office’s interior was a task that would be both time-consuming and complex for the Proctifin team. Additionally, they had specific requirements: the art needed to match their professional image without exceeding the budget. This presented a challenge for BuroMuro—selecting pieces that were both affordable and aesthetically suited to this expansive office.

Out Approach __ To tackle this challenge, we began by having a conversation with the owner of Proctifin to get a clear understanding of their desires and expectations. Once we fully understood their vision, we developed a detailed proposal that took into account their budget, the size of the spaces, and the desired aesthetic of the artworks.

Jolijn, our interior designer, ensured that the selected pieces perfectly aligned with Proctifin’s interior design and needs. We exclusively used artwork from BuroMuro’s portfolio of Belgian artists, providing an excellent opportunity to support local talent.

After our initial discussion, we created a floor plan with to show Proctifin how the art pieces would fit within their office. This allowed them to visualize the final outcome clearly. Once they approved, we took care of the production, including custom framing for each piece. We then installed the works at the agreed time, ensuring Proctifin didn’t have to worry about any logistics.
