Emma Veulemans (°1999) is a Belgian illustrator from Glabbeek. She got her secondary degree in Art General Education at the Art School in Genk. There she discovered her interest for illustration. With that interest in the foreground, she obtained her Master's Degree in 'Graphic Design - Illustration' in 2021. Her works starts from an everyday environment. With those recognizable, graphic elements she creates large poetic illustrations with acrylic on wooden panels. Everyday feelings such as happiness, love and loneliness are central. You can recognize the works by the many lively, brightly colored areas opposite elaborate figures. The large format on which she works offers the possibility to experiment a lot.
