A drawing by Sofie De Cleene begins with life drawing: it inspires her to create an initial, spontaneous line, which then grows from her imagination.
During routine work, she listens to 'Thuis' on YouTube and collects quotes. Removed from their context, they add banality and irony to the sometimes heavy themes of her work. And that’s what happened here: the title comes from 'Thuis,' the feelings from everywhere.
This drawing is screen-printed in four colors on A3 format and EVEN CLEANER IN REAL LIFE.
