Riana Ionescu, a 23-year-old emerging photographer and artist, has developed a unique style through a self-taught approach. Half Romanian and half Serbian, she has spent the past three years between Brussels and Bucharest, with Brussels being the place where her passion for photography has truly flourished.
Riana's journey into photography began without formal training. Using a hand-me-down camera and lens, she captures spontaneous street scenes, drawing inspiration from movies. Her work is characterized by its impulsive nature, allowing the world to surprise her.
In Brussels, Riana continues to experiment and refine her craft, exploring and defining her artistic vision. Despite initial hesitance to label herself a photographer or artist, her evolving talent and distinctive perspective speak for themselves.

Brussels, on one of the last truly hot days of summer '23. Seen in the Bourse area, silently engrossed in his own recitations, he palms prayer beads and walks a predetermined route. Each day, he appears in different colorful attire.
