Feeling Blue (2025) is a detail from a larger work in which Ines Thora deepens her ongoing exploration of materiality, colour, and physical presence. She fixed pure blue pigment directly onto coarse cotton, resulting in an intense, almost vibrating blue surface. Over this foundation, she layered oil paint, pastel, and pencil in a restrained yet expressive manner. The tension between raw pigment and fabric, between intuitive mark-making and deliberate composition, gives Feeling Blue a quiet but powerful energy.
Recommended size and frame: A2 with a wooden frame – or contact us for other options, such as a custom-made frame or passe-partout.
