Amsterdam-based illustrator Timo Kuilder’s personal style is characterized by uncomplicated colour palettes, clean-cut linework and his pared-back characters. Resulting in a clear signature that he applies to both his personal work as well as his commercial commissions creating consistency across his whole portfolio. Timo's work is fuelled by his observing nature and ongoing curiosity, utilising simple shapes to tell all sorts of stories.

Among his clients are the New York Times, Vogue, Firefox and Google. In 2019 Timo released an illustrative game called Kontrast for mobile to blur the lines between game and illustration and to have his work seen in a different context. In 2021 he released a book filled with 120 pages of black-and-white illustrations about his father, who is bipolar. At the end of 2023 he released his first picture book for children called Pablo Dreams of Cats.
