We’re excited to announce an open call for artists and designers to create works for the Art Wall at the Ottertrotter Festival on Sunday, June 29th at Tivolipark Mechelen. This is a fantastic opportunity to showcase your work to a broader audience while supporting an important cause: human rights.

Theme: “Right Here, Right Now”
Human rights are often the silent foundation of our everyday lives. But what do they mean to you? How can you translate the impact of human rights on our daily lives into a visual artwork? We invite you to share your interpretation of this theme through small-scale works of art.

What we're looking for:

• Work on canvas of 13 x 18 cm (canvas provided)

• Theme: “Right Here, Right Now” – Human rights in our daily lives

• Submission deadline: June 7, 2025

• Exhibition: Sunday, June 29, Tivolipark Mechelen

Why Participate?
This is more than just an opportunity to exhibit your work. The proceeds from the sale of the artworks will be donated to a project in East Congo, supporting victims of the ongoing conflict. The specific project will be selected by the Mondiale Raad of Mechelen, and we believe this is a chance to make a difference not only locally but also internationally.

Through this collaboration, we aim to promote international solidarity, with a focus on both the local and global impact of human rights, particularly in the Global South.
